Vital Oracle minimizes data collection and does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking tools. This policy explains the limited technical information used to operate and improve the site.
01.Data Controller
Vital Oracle is a personal project run by Alberto Fernández, who acts as the data controller for the technical data described in this policy. You can contact him about anything concerning your data, and to exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, by writing to support@vitaloracle.com. If you believe the processing does not comply with data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
02.Data Collection
Vital Oracle does not require an account and does not request your name, email address, or other sensitive personal data. Our first-party, cookieless analytics records limited technical events such as the page visited, language, oracle type, event type, device category, operating system, country code, referrer category, and campaign parameters. Since August 2026 we also record technical data about the reading flow itself: a temporary attempt identifier, the spread type, the status and duration of the generation, an error code when it fails, the landing page, and a session identifier. The raw IP address is not stored: it is used momentarily with the user agent and a private secret to create a non-reversible daily hash, then discarded.
03.Cookie Usage
Vital Oracle does not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. A minimal technical cookie may remember your language preference. Internal usage measurement works without analytics cookies and without loading external tracking scripts.
04.Privacy in Your Consultations
The questions you write, the selected cards, and the reading results are processed in your browser and are never sent to or stored in the analytics database. This is a deliberate and permanent design decision: the text of your queries is not recorded, not even in aggregated or anonymised form. If you explicitly create or share a reading link, the information needed to restore that reading is encoded in the URL. Anyone who receives that link can view its contents, so do not include sensitive personal information in questions you plan to share.
05.Local Storage (History and Favorites)
Reading history, Favorites, accessibility settings, and interface preferences are stored on your device using localStorage. A technical marker that lets us recognise a returning visit without identifying you is also kept there. Anonymous session and attribution identifiers may be kept temporarily in sessionStorage for first-party measurement. You can delete this information from within the app where available or by clearing Vital Oracle's site data in your browser.
06.Traffic Quality and Bot Detection
A significant share of the visits this site receives comes from automated crawlers and data centres. So that internal statistics reflect real people, each visitor is automatically classified as human, unknown, or bot based on aggregated technical signals such as the number of pages viewed, whether a referrer is present, and the consistency of the recorded events. This classification is used solely to clean up usage statistics: it makes no decision that affects you, it does not restrict access to the site, and it never analyses the content of your queries.
07.Third-Party Tracking and Advertising
Vital Oracle does not currently load Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Meta Pixel, or any other third-party tracking or advertising script. The site uses infrastructure providers such as Vercel for hosting, Neon for the first-party metrics database, and Cloudflare for DNS management and for serving the www subdomain; by their nature these providers process technical connection data. None of them is used to build advertising profiles. Vital Oracle does not sell personal data or share usage profiles for advertising. This policy will be updated before any advertising technology is activated.
08.Your Rights
You can use Vital Oracle without creating an account. You can delete your History and Favorites from the app, remove the language cookie, and clear all local data from your browser settings. Because the daily analytics identifier is non-reversible, rotates every day, and is not linked to an account, Vital Oracle cannot use it to identify you personally.
09.Changes to this Policy
This policy will be updated whenever data practices change, especially before enabling advertising, external analytics, or additional cookies. Material changes will be identified on this page with a new update date.
